Hello and welcome - my name's Ian Stuart Ferguson.
As you may gather I'm unashamedly Scottish in heritage, even though I'm an exile in London now.

My interests include:

(Other than computer-related)
Reading (Just about anything, but mostly Science Fiction and Fantasy)
Dragons (One of my favourite writers is Anne McCaffrey)
Babylon 5
Other favourite books are:
Repairman Jack and other works by F Paul Wilson
Cadfael's Chronicles (Ellis Peters)
Terry Pratchett's Discworld
and in complete contrast to the above
the works of Nevil Shute

Listening to Music
Mainly from the 60's and 70's in a 'Bluesy' shade of Rock but also Folk/Rock and Celtic
(Favourite artists include Fleetwood Mac, Moody Blues, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Status Quo, Steeleye Span, The Corries)

Model Engineering, Model making, and D.I.Y. (but not building)
Handicrafts, Cross Stitch and most other Needlecraft
Watching films (usually videos and DVDs, occasionally at the movies)
Jewellery Making based on chain mail (or chain maille as it is also known)
